Purpose of use of personal data

Personal data is processed for the purpose of managing and analyzing customer relationships and other relevant relationships, providing services, developing and planning business, and marketing and customer communications, which can also be carried out electronically and in a targeted manner.

General requirement for processing personal data: Section 8, subsection 1, points 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7 of the Personal Data Act.

Data content of the register

The following information about all registered persons can be processed in the register:

• first and last name
• contact information (mailing address, telephone number, email address)
• the date and method of commencement and termination of the customer relationship and/or business relationship
• direct marketing permits and prohibitions
• information regarding the use of electronic services and content (e.g. subscribing to newsletters), technical information sent by the registered browser to the server of the data controller (e.g. IP address, browser, browser version, page from which the registered user has accessed our website), and cookies sent to the registered browser and related information
• information related to marketing and sales promotion, such as marketing measures targeted at the data subject and participation in them (e.g. participation in marketing raffles and competitions and events)
• information related to managing customer relationships and other relevant contact and communication (e.g. purchase and cancellation information for paid products and services, order information for free products and services, delivery information, feedback, complaints and recordings of customer service events, such as calls, emails, chat and text messages)
• information about online behavior on websites and services (e.g. link clicks, web pages browsed, entry and exit sites)

The register may also process the following information about those who have purchased a product and/or service or created a customer account:

• customer number
• personal identification number
• billing and collection information
• user name
• password
• pseudonym
• information related to the service of the identified user, such as usage data of the service features

Regular data sources

Personal data concerning the data subject is collected from the data subject himself/herself, from various services that the data subject uses (including online services and social media channels), and in connection with various marketing measures such as marketing raffles, competitions and events.

Disclosure and transfer of information

At the discretion of the controller, information may be disclosed, within the limits permitted and required by applicable legislation, for example to Lucky Skate Oy's partners, unless the data subject has prohibited the disclosure of information. Information may in principle only be disclosed for purposes that support the operating principle of Lucky Skate Oy's customer register and where the purpose of use of the information is not incompatible with the purposes of Lucky Skate Oy.

Data may also be disclosed in accordance with applicable law, as required by the requirements of competent authorities or other parties, and for historical or scientific research purposes, provided that the data has been anonymized.

Registry protection

The electronically processed data contained in the register are protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical means generally accepted in the information security industry. The manually maintained materials are located in premises to which unauthorized access is prevented.

Only identified employees of the controller and companies acting on its behalf and under its authority have access to the information contained in the register with the use right granted by the controller.

Right to inspection, prohibition and correction

The data subject has the right, in accordance with the Personal Data Act, to check what information about him or her has been stored in the register. At the request of the data subject, we will make necessary corrections and additions to the personal data or delete information that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or outdated for the purpose of the processing. The data can be checked and updated by contacting us by email at info@luckyskate.fi. The request must be in writing and signed. The request for information can be made free of charge once a year.

The data subject has the right to prohibit the processing and disclosure of data concerning him or her for direct marketing purposes by contacting our customer service.

Changing the privacy policy

Lucky Skate Oy is constantly developing its business and therefore reserves the right to change this privacy policy by posting a notice on the services. Changes may also be based on changes in legislation. Lucky Skate Oy recommends that data subjects familiarize themselves with the content of the privacy policy regularly.
