Solo skating
Choosing the right skate is important to make learning new skills as comfortable as possible. The skate boot should be the right size and width, and be suitably supportive, but not too hard - the best fit for your individual foot. The hardness (support level) of the boot is chosen based on an individual overall assessment of the skater's physical size, strength and skill level, and the amount of training. It is therefore worth taking the time to try on models from different skate manufacturers. At Lucky Skate, we are happy to help with this expert assessment. You can book an appointment with us for a skate fitting service, either in our store or with our virtual salesperson.
